Dual Sensor Head People Counter
 This
People Counter uses a pair of push-in style
eye-beams – one each side of the entrance
– usually in the door jams. These Dual
Sensor Heads (DSH) are basically the type used
in auto doors to stop the doors closing if someone
stands in the doorway.
Dual Sensor Heads
When installed these Sensor Heads being
quite small – 15 mm in diameter and a
neutral black - go virtually unnoticed. For
shops the suggested height for installation
is 1.3 metres – to not count small children,
shopping trolleys and prams.
Having a Sensing range of up to 10
metres the DSH suits auto doors and
wider opening where extremely small discrete
sensors are needed.
Theses sensors are made in Australia work well
in harsh environments and like all our sensors
not affected by sunlight.
 Control
Module
This contains the electronics for the
Sensor Heads and communicates to the Counter
Module. The Control Module in a matt black lugged
box 111 x 67 36 mm.
 The
TotalCount DES3 Counter Module
The Counter is an 8 digit LCD display with
a digit height of 8 mm. The unit can handle
really high numbers and is clear and easy to
read.
To Reset the Counter to Zero
a Magnet is applied externally to the right
of the LCD – two Magnets are included
in the pack.
The Counter Module and accompanying electronics
are housed in a matt black lugged box measuring
66 x 50 x 34 mm.
